Scoil Eoin commits to having Active School Week as part of the annual school calendar. All activities are planned so that they are accessible by all pupils and the focus is on being active not necessarily being sporty. The pupils interests and abilities are catered for during ASW. Each day of Active School Week, we Wake Up and Shake UP with dance as a whole school on the yard before lessons begin. Teachers, staff and parents are welcome to join in the fun each morning. We find it increases the energy in the children and brightens our day. Tracksuits replace uniforms for pupils and teachers for this special week as we fully embrace being physically active.
