As part of science week, a group of local research centres are coming together to host a Science Fair at the Marina, taking place on Saturday, November 16th at the Marina Market (Centre Park Road, Cork City).
We are also inviting schools to take part in an exciting Science Week Poster Competition for primary schools (4th-6th class) in Cork City and County. Please see more details and a template attached.
This year’s theme is ‘Regeneration’, and we want your students to dive into the fascinating world of generational change in science and technology. They’ll get the chance to explore the past, present, and future of science by chatting with family or friends about how one of the following topics has transformed over time — and dream about what the future might look like
Topics to choose from are:
- Microbiology
- Agriculture
- Technology
- Food
- Energy and the Environment
